How we network
We work with help from volunteers, churches, social workers and donateurs. Apart from all the activities we have in the City of Amsterdam, we participate at one int’l conference, visit some christian organisations in NL and keep in touch with some churches in Portugal and The Netherlands.
Introduction/ Intake
Our basic services begin with an initial email, telephone or personal contact and then we make an appointment. After this, we welcome people who come to us asking for help with love and affection. We try to listen to people, their problems and difficulties, with double attention. Then we pray to God and then organize prayer groups for people in need. Afterwards, we try to maintain regular sessions and contact for a period of time to be determined to observe the results obtained. We do all this as a Christian Ministry in the Name and for the Glory of Jesus Christ.

Schedule a Retreat
After our prayers asking the Lord, with our Team, for guidance through our searching for a farm to build our Christian Retreat in Portugal, finally we have found the right place for us to develop this Project in Vila de Rei, Central Portugal. Now through this project we can enjoy nature, as a group, and enjoy periods of grace, mercy and healing from the Lord. Having peace of mind, can help us, to obtain an emotional, mental and spiritual restoration through God’s Spirit. On these retreats there is a loving and calm environment for counselling and time to meditate in the word of God. You can also receive prayers, enjoy the nature, eat balanced meals and get restful periods. All this can be facilitated by the contact we have with nature and taking part on our group’s activities. Please contact us via email: info@nova-alma.nl to obtain more information and details. God Blessings.

We have a new project in mind starting in October 2026 in PORTUGAL...
We are going to start connecting through the cities of Vila de Rei, Serta, Ferreira do Zezere, Tomar and Abrantes, with few big supermarkets chains and middle size supermarkets in those areas ,to ask and to get the food that is not in conditions for sale in their shelves but are still in conditions to be used for people and communities in need. We will present our qualification papers (ANBI) as a Registered Public Charity Organization and as a Christian Foundation that cares for the needed and we will start to distribute their food equally among them. Besides that we once on a monthly basis will cook meals to be given for free to the ones in need at the different cities. So, no more food goes to the garbage when still can be used to feed other people. Specially to those who are in a financial or an economic difficulty. For more details and information on this Project, email: info@nova-alma.nl or visit our website: www.nova-alma.nl Donations are welcome, please transfer or deposit your donation to our bank account: ING Bank: NL28 INGB 0107 0467 76 in the name of Stichting Nova-Alma.
